Are CEOs, the Board and Companies meant to maximize profits and shareholder value, or is it to do good and play the role of social activist? Are institutional investors and fund managers supposed to maximize returns for their investors or try to have a positive impact on the world?

ESG and Sustainability concerns are now playing a prominent role in how companies around the world operate, and how investors allocate their capital. Executives and investors have come to terms with the fact that paying attention to the environment, diversity and inclusion, social responsibility and sustainability is not only imperative in the current landscape but can also have a positive impact on shareholder value and returns.

The Deal’s Corporate ESG & Sustainability Forum taking place on March 7, 2023 at the Union League Club in New York City presents a full day of education and networking exploring what companies and investors are doing to create a more sustainable, environmentally friendly and socially responsible world, while adjusting to continued increases in expectations and standards.

Independent Sponsor Connect East 2018

October 30, 2018, The Harvard Club of New York City

Valuable Insights, Invaluable Connections

Once known only as fundless deal-makers with no ready pool of capital to deploy, independent sponsors now occupy a more well-regarded space as pioneers on the frontier of private equity.

As part of this ascent into the private capital pantheon and in response to rising interest from LPs, GPs, and service providers, PartnerConnect will host the inaugural Independent Sponsor Connect conference on October 30 at the Harvard Club in New York City.

Come see how independent sponsors have reached critical mass as a deal-making, deal sourcing and capital-raising force in private markets.

Panels will reveal the ins and outs of finding acquisitions, funding them, and growing portfolio companies quickly for attractive exit multiples.

Industry veterans as well as more recently successful entrepreneurs will share insights on setting up your own shop, competing with funded sponsors and avoiding unnecessary fees.

Keynote presentations from industry leaders will offer insights into attracting institutional capital and working with family offices. The day’s events also include interactive round tables, lunch and plenty of networking opportunities. Hundreds of independent sponsors, bankers, investors, lawyers, and advisors are expected to attend.

Our ExecConnect private meetings program gives independent sponsors the unique opportunity to meet with capital providers and deal source professionals for 20 minute, prearranged meetings.
